Wow!
I checked out the specs on the new Canon 400D and it has some very nice features that are not even on the 30D. In particular the self celaning feature. Does it have a full sized sensor? Maybe not but still it is a 10.1 megapixel camera which is more than the 30D. Wasup with that? The 400D is the follow on to the Rebel XT (350D) so it Canon asking us to trade down to get a better camera? I feel a bit betrayed with my 20D and the upgrade path to the 30D.

Bill - Just you don't hate it when these computer gadgets come out with something new and better and sometimes cheaper then what you paid just a short time ago?

Wait a year and there'll be a 12 Mp with a full-sized sensor for the same price as the 400D and then the catch will be that all those lenses you have designed for APS-C sensors will have to be replaced because they don't work properly with full-sized sensors. "Newer, better, cheaper" is what makes the world go round and keeps the economy healthy :D

Yeah, Tony
I have been cautious about that. Both of my IS lenses will fit a full sensor camera. So I have been waiting for the intermediate replacement of the 5D.
