Here is a collage that I made for my daughter showing her growing up from 6 months (background)........couldn't bring myself to use her hospital picture.... to her at age 31 with her fiance in the center. I gave it to her at her shower. She cried.:D I'm sorry if you can't see all the pics because they are so small, but I had a bunch to get on there. There is one with her and her grandfather (my Dad) now deceased 11 years, one with her dog, also deceased, her prom, her high school color guard days, First Holy Communion....wearing my First Communion viel, and lots of others.

I hope you like it!

Thanks Kim! I didn't realize that it wasn't clickable! I think I have it fixed! I love doing the collages, I can display a lot of photos in one big photo!

Colleen, as always beautiful work. I have been getting my sons pictures together to start doing some different ones for him to give him when he grows up and moves away. I am actually instant messaging with my Dad right now asking him to send me pictures of him and my Mom to do some of them.

Colleen, beautiful work -what a great idea - did you have printed for your daughter and if so, what size?

Colleen: What a wonderful collage. I saved it to my desktop and enlarged it to a 10x15. That way I was able to view all the pictures. However, they were slightly blurry. Russ

Thanks everyone! I am glad you like it! I ended up putting it together in about 2 hours on Friday morning. Elizabeth and I sorted through pics and then scanned them in. All I did was add a stroke and a drop shadow and slide them around. I wanted those cute little baby fingers showing, so I tried not to cover them with a picture. I love their engagement photo! My 17 year old said to her at the shower: "Kelly, that sure is a nasty comb-over you had back then!"

Gigi; Yes, I did print it out 12 x 18, pretty much my standard collage size, as I have them printed at costco and anything larger cost 3 x's as much (these are 2.99) the others are $9.99. I think this is a manageable (sp) size for hanging somewhere. I then center them on a piece of posterboard and use a plain glass frame which is 16 x 20.

I am really glad you all like it. It was fun putting it together, but it did make me step back and wonder: WHERE HAVE THOSE YEARS GONE!?!?!?

Oh, by the way, I am adding an edited father and son photo to my some vacation pics thread.......just in case you are interested....!

Thanks Colleen

I just made my first montage - and I was wondering if I wanted to have it printed or not - thanks for the great info - I have a Walmart & a Costco near my office - so I just might try Costco out.

Gigi:

I love my costco. Just one word of advice: If you upload (or I guess, use their kiosk) toward the end of the process, there is a screen and in the middle of it, it gives you EDIT OPTIONS. MAKE SURE you turn OFF the auto-correct!!! I have forgotten to do this from time to time, and when I forget, I am not happy about the coloring of my photos. I wish I could check something ONE TIME and have it always apply, but you can't.....so just look for the EDIT OPTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remembered that I had seen something about that - so I made sure I had turned it off. Only problem I had was it wasn't giving me the option to print the 12 X 18?? - I went with the 8 X 12 - guess I'll have to ask them why when I pick up my picture.

Thanks again

Oh, Gigi...sorry I didn't see your post. You need to go to "larger sizes" I believe.....I think it says that underneath the thumbnail. It is def. there though. Maybe it says enlargement?????

I went there - and you can click the 12 X 18 - but other than that - you can't approve or anything?? so who know??

I think I lost you....You will get the screen where you choose the 12 x 18, and then once you click on that it takes you back to the old screen, but shows your larger size.....you can still get to the edit options if that is what you mean.....

Is there something else you are trying to get to or do?????
