I have been a subscriber for eighteen months; the 'ethical' question shamed me into doing a gallery. I have always thought I had nothing worthy of public viewing, but realized that I could not learn from comments if my photos could not seen. So here goes.........

Thanks, Nita. Son and daughter in law just moved to Sydney, and are thrilled by all the spring flowers - and birds. Glad you liked it; I was apprehensive about posting. Nearly everything was done through tutorials.

It is definitely hard to take the step of creating a gallery, especially with all of the talent on this forum. The images in your gallery are wonderful:) I love the different sunsets and the giraffe breakout. I need to find my pictures of feeding giraffes at the Wild Animal Park in San Diego, maybe I have one that would work.

Thanks for sharing!

Your pictures are great, I can't imagine why you would think they're not worth sharing! And, the fact that you did them by tutorials is testament to what you've learned here. Looking forward to you filling up the rest of the spaces in your gallery!:)

I remember when I got my feet wet here! I was so very nervous to put pictures in a gallery!

Yours is beautiful! From the places that I see you've been, I'll look forward to seeing more pictures of safaris, etc.

Jean ...

Oh my ... all this time and you didn't have a Gallery

... well you certainly have made up for it now. There are some really good images in there ... my favourites are the Australian Magnolias and that wonderful Tiger. That is really good !! :)

http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/congratualtions.gif (http://www.millan.net) on your new Gallery ... and so pleased that something finally pushed you into creating it.

I very much enjoyed looking through it :)

Wendy: It was you who pushed me into the gallery. In the "Ethics" question you said subscribers usually had galleries. Thanks to all for kind words.
Question: Now I have a gallery, will the link always be in my forum answers?

Oh, oh. No it is not. So how do I get it to appear each time? Jean

Thanks for posting your photos, they're very nice and you should be proud of them. I especially like the magnolias picture and the treatment you gave it.

Question: Now I have a gallery, will the link always be in my forum answers?

I found these instructions from Wendy in another thread:

Click on User CP at the top left of the page then on Edit Signature and copy and paste this into it:

[333url=http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/viewgallery.php?user=xxxx] My Gallery

Where it says My Gallery type in what you want to show in your signature.

Now remove the 333 and where it says xxxx type in your user number. Make sure that you don't add any extra spaces ..

To find your user number ... click on Access my Gallery then click on "Share my Gallery" and you see the user number there.

I hope this helps!

Your gallery is great! Glad you finally made one! I know what you were thinking though, I go through that everything I post a pic....I always feel it is not good enough. Everone here has convinced me I should post away!!!!! So now I do!

Keep trying the procedure for the adding the link to your gallery.....it's been quite a while since I did it, it sounds right, but as I recall, it took me a few times before it clicked!

Happy to see your gallery!

Here is another try

Here is another try. I look at everyone's galleries and they are so much better than mine. Anything I should change on photos in the gallery. Every time I go back and look at a photo I can see something wrong.

Kim: I went into User CP and just copied and pasted the url from the "Share my gallery". Couldnt get the other way to work.
I am also a Roberts - my husband is of Welsh descent.

What a delightful gallery!! You have used so many techniques, and so well. Very impressive!

My heart was pounding when I opened my gallery - I still feel nervous just posting replies in the forum!! So glad you overcame your blocks and posted some really lovely work!

Jean ...

Try this :

Copy and Paste all of this line into User CP, Edit Signature .... then just delete the 333 but leave in the [ just before it. (I have to do it this way to stop it converting into the link in this thread)

[333url=http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/viewgallery.php?user=693] Jean's Gallery

Fingers crossed that should work :)

Jean,

Your gallery is wonderful with a great variety of techniques - well done. It is always nerve wracking when you first start a gallery, I felt as though I was baring my soul to the world  Also remember we are our own worst enemy because we are more critical of our own work ;)

That is a gallery to be proud of. I know it's difficult to post the first time. But if you don't post, you can't learn. I can't decide which of your wonderful pictures is my favorite. I love the sunsets and the magnolias. Great work.
