For all Newbies having trouble with Color correcting their Photo's. I'm taking Dave Cross's Workflow course. Only on day 4.... One problem I have had with my photo's have been color correcting my photos. Due to point and shoot camera!!! Dave showed how by adjusting the eyedropper tool in levels to correct the color. The Black eyedropper set to 10-10-10,The gray eyedropper leave as is and the white eyedropper set to 240-240-240. Just double click on each eyedropper and set as shown.
After setting the colors click on the black eyedropper then click on the darkest, shadow, then go to the gray eyedropper click on the middle tone of the picture ,then go to the to the white eyedropper and click on the lightest part of the picture. all of a sudden it's the right color.
It not only corrects color but it can also make a flat picture into a good contrast picture.

Will look into that when I get home from work this evening. Sounds like something I need to try.
Thanks,
