It's been said before, but I'll say it again--you are so creative & artistic!

Nita, that looks great. Reminds me of a fossil, if you changed the color I'm sure you could pass it off as one.

Thanks Betty, Terry & Wendy.

Terry, you're right... I'll have to work on the fossil effect. The only reason I did it in blues is b/c it's a blue darner (who knew - I thought they were all dragonflies, but there are darners, dashers, damselflies... :D ). I selected the colors from its body.

FYI: Some of the most fascinating photos I've seen anywhere can be found on http://www.weatherunderground.com/wximage/viewimages.html. It's a weather site, with viewer images. If you search JAYNE, in HANDLE, category ALL. Her nature photos are awesome!!! Here's the photo I used as a texture.

Wendy, the orb was originally a photo I found on the web while googling grand pianos to design something for a pianist friend Sonya. Unfortunately she passed away before I completed the card. The photo was a 19th century style Steinway & Sons Model O in tiger eye maple. I used the Kaleidoscope filter, then orbed it.
