Hi,
one good thing about not being on line as often as I used to be is that I've had time to catch up on my reading.
This montage was made following the tut in Scott Kelby's book, Photoshop Elements 4 Book For Digital Photographers. The tut is called - Photo To Sketch In 60 Seconds Flat. They took longer than that because I played around with the saturation and Lighting.

Oh Wow those just look so good ... I especially like the effect on the boat.

Nice work on them all and on putting them together in the montage :)

thank you, pleased you like it.
I did it mainly for the newbies so that they can see that with the right tuts from books or this forum ( your tuts especially) that with a little care; they too can create nice effects.

Kev, all the pics are great! As far as subject matter goes, I am partial to the two boat pics because I love the ocean. But I really like the way you applied sat. and changed opacity on each to render a different effect. I too will have to dig out Scott's book!! Thanks for the beautiful reminder!!

The boat is my fav as well Kev. I quickly read through the post & then viewed the pic. I thought, "so what's the big deal... it took 60 minutes to do that?? I don't get it!" THEN I reread your post. Aha... 60 SECONDS. :rolleyes: ;) I must be having a VERY off day.
