Bill,

Both shots are marvellous. It looks like a wonderful place to go camping - I am envious.

Looks great. looks like you had fun. I love the text. How did you do that, could someone explain please? Only think I noticed was in the first pic, the one of someone driving a go-cart (I think) its a great shot, but the white car blends to the border and becomes distracting. Maybe swap it for a darker pic, or change the border. Otherwise, all the shots look great.

EDIT: I LOVE the layout in the first pic, I'll have to remember that next time I try to work with horison lines. It really draws your attention back to the center as your eyes wander arround the pic.

My wife works with the elderly and she just lover your motto. At my age I feel the same way, of course.

Gary: Yeah. Actually we stayed at a Thousand Trails campground with our 26 foot fifth wheel trailer with the slide out and electricity, water and sewer. A far cry from my early days of backpacking. My wife (Linda) thinks roughing it is a hotel without room service!

Michael: Each of the letters is placed on a separate layer. First establish the background picture and then choose a picture for each of the letters and bring each one up separately in the Editor. Select the Type tool and the font you want to use (probably a bold in order to get the width you need) and the font size (usually a big one) then click on the Horizontal Type Mask Tool in the toolbar. Type the first letter on the first picture and then go to the move tool and cntrl C (copy). Now go to the background picture with the move tool selected and type cntrl V (Paste). Make sure you have the grid enabled and resize the letter and place it accordingly on the background. Now you can use edit>stroke(outline) selection for a border. Continue with the other pictures placing and resizing them and then when you have all the letters you can merge them and apply a drop shadow.

I hope that explains it. Wendy would be more detailed but let me know if I can help more.:) :) :)

They are both great images! So different too! I love the way you added separate pictures to each of the letters! I have done that technique before, but using one photo for the whole word...would never have though of doing what you did! It looks GREAT!

GREAT WORK!
