Hi there and welcome to the forum :)

Have the photos open that you want to use then go to Window>Images>Tile and then just use the move tool to drag one picture onto the other.

There a many ways to do the same thing in elements....you can also go to Window>Images>and make sure Maximize Mode is unchecked, then do the draging again with the move tool.

Hope this helps :)

Hi there ...

... and welcome to the forum :)

Yes there it ... just make a new file File>New>Blank File (make it quite large if you want to add images to it and set the resolution to 300)

Then open up and image you want to add to it and just drag and drop it onto the new image (Make sure that you have it set to cascade so that you can see both ... Window>Images>Cascade)

... and simply do the same for any other images you want to add :)

Wendy, you mentioned making the file size larger if you were going to drag numerous pictures. How big is a good size to use.

Hi Norma ...

I tend to make the file around the size I want it to print out at ... and thats usually the size of my paper which is A4 (or square if I want the final image square) resolution I tend to stick with 300.

As long as the proportions are OK I don't mind it its larger than that because its easy enough to scale images down .. :)

When I set up the blank page - I always check my pictures that I want on that page to find out what size of the pictures are. For example my camera takes images when shrunk down to 4 by 6 - end up at 501.333. So I set the pixels to that amount - so when I drag them onto the blank page - the size stays the same.
Multiple pictures with different pixel dimensions will of course set up a different situation - if you want them to all be the same size - I believe you'd have to drag the corners to make them - for example - 4 by 6.
I really do like it when you drag them on to the blank page that each picture ends up on it's own layer. That way you can turn them (say 90 degrees) so that you can get 3 - 4X6 pictures on an 8.5 X 11 sheet of paper - if you printer allows edge to edge printing - which leaves alittle space between each of the 2 verticle pictures.
hope this makes sense.

This has got to be the most oft-asked question and the most frustrating for new people- I remember getting so mad at PSE and my computer (it couldn't be MY fault!:o) I wish there was some way to let people know this sooner so starting out isn't so frustrating.

I'm new today to this forum. I've been reading some of the posts and noticed bnk1953 has the same G4 Mac I have. Maybe you can help me. I have 3 school pictures emailed to me that I'd like to print out. I tried pulling them all onto one canvas but can't do it. The "Windows" tips don't help me at all. Could you please advise how to do this? I really appreciate it! I haven't used the software enough other than editing to be "good" at it. :o

Thanks! I was able to put the three photos on on layout for 5x7 and wallets and didn't waste any photo paper. I'm learning.... :)

It's very easy. Just place two or more images on a main, blank image and put that on the canvas. Quickly Upload your photos and select the canvas format. You can Crop the photos and Position them on canvas
