he issue:
The Epson All in One will freeze (to the point that you have to unplug it to regain control) when printing from PSE4.
The PAST cure involved disabling - somehow - Epson's automatic scanning function AND disabling Adobe Organizer's automatic image aquisition AND the Adobe Active File Management Service.
I have disabled Organizer's automatic image aqusition and the Service, but I can't remember or find the Epson scan function to disable. Perhaps there is some additional tweak that I need to prevent my Epson from freezing and hanging.
I had encountered this issue with PSE3 and found an entry in the support forums to fix the hang/freeze, but I cannot find the same entry.
Please help - I don't have much hair and my wife is tearing out whatever is left.
