I'm new to digital scrapbooking and have created a few pages but I am not sure what I should print them on. I've been thinking about just taking them to someplace like Staples or Kinkos and having them printed on cardstock to place in albums but I've read a lot on here about printing them on photo paper. Is one any better than the other? I want to put albums together for the grandparents for Christmas but I don't want the pages to look like photos. I guess I want them to look as much like a paper project as possible... I'm rambling into oblivion..:o

Any ideas would be great!!

Thanks
Laura

Hi Laura-

If you print on matte paper rather than glossy, that is probably more along the lines of the effect that you want. You didn't say what size your pages are, so that could affect your choice of where you print. I have a large format photo printer (epson r1800) so I do most of my printing at home and put the printouts into toploading scrapbook albums. As for photo services, several users here have spoken highly of Costco printing. I've also ordered fun photo books from Shutterfly.

Good luck- I'm sure the grandparents will love whatever you come up with!

Thanks Kay.. I'm planning on printing 8x8 size pages. I have a Lexmark printer at home but it does such a bad job that I don't want to use it for these. I just don't think it was designed to handle something like this. Thanks again for the info.
