Thank you everybody. I could not get into the forum this morning - some birthday present! Anyway it is only 9:53 AM on my birthday - Aug. 21st. Remember I am way out west. Planning on enjoying myself with an afternoon of shopping Robsonstrasse on my own which I really enjoy and then meeting my husband in the new trendy area of Vancouver for dinner.
I have been reflecting this morning. Two years ago today was the morning after my breast cancer surgery and I got a phone call from my sister that my Mom has just passed away (this was not expected). Of course it was a very very stressful time. But time passes and now I am reflecting on all the good memories and blessings I have = as the pain of the moment has passed. Thanks again for the wishes.

We will be in Birch Bay this week and hopefully my daughter-in-law will come visit us from Vancouver. Otherwise we will drive up there for dinner. (My son is still out in the wilds north of Revelstoke).
