My husband found an old picture of Holly and asked me to make something for his Mother. Don't give me a lot of credit. I bought the kit and pretty much copied her example. It was a lot of work and I am in awe of the kind of scrap work the rest of you do.

Great colors, and love those curls! It seems so easy, doesn't it- you should just be able to plop pictures into a pre-made kit... it doesn't work that way for me at least.

Kay, it looks so easy. You get all the papers, the ribbons, cute little tags. But OMG, the time it still takes to put all of those things in to the right layers and the right size. This took all afternoon. But I am going to print it out and have it framed. It will make her smile. She always loved that Curly hair!

Kimi, I viewed this last night but didn't leave a post. I think I was in "shock" over the "mug shot" comment. The page is beautiful and so is Holly. At 15 years old now, it would be my bet that she is breaking hearts left and right.

Momto4: 36 layers is alot - more than most would take the time to do, so don't let that frighten you off. Take the on-line training course in layers. It is well worth the $20!!!

Thanks eveyone for the nice words. :) Here is Holly at 15. The curls are still there but not as much. She thinks she would be happier with straight hair. (sigh) I tell her to embrace the curls... but what does a mother know.

Wendy, shame on you!! I have board straight hair. I would love to have nice thick wavy hair. I have banned here from using a straightener.

We always want what we don't have... so life goes. :D

I once sat next to my Mum in the hairdressers she was having her hair permed and I was having mine straightened :o :o

Chemical straightening doesn't work but blow drying it with a very large brush does :D :D

Everybody wants what they don't have! It kills me that my girls straighten their hair that is already straight! What's that about?? As far as curls, my son has longer hair this year (no more buzz cut :( ) and we've discovered HE has the curls!!
