I don't know if this is advance - but it is to me. Somehow I have my signature brushes in several different groups of brushes. I guess over the months when I put them in they just added to whatever was open. Now I would like to make a group called 'signature brushes' and move them all into that. I cannot find anything on this in my books or help. When you click on the arrow beside the box where it says brushes I have groups called assorted and untitled that I don't know how they got there. When I click on the box with the brush itself (because I thought I could move it to another category) it just says rename or delete. Does anyone understand what I am talking about? I just want to clean things up a bit.

Shari do you know how to get to your presets folder / brushes in PSE. If you do just go to the brushes folder in Elements. Make a new folder , name it what you want to . Left click on the brush you want (make sure you hold the button down well you drag the brush )to put it in the folder . You also can right click on the brush you want and choose copy and just paste it into the folder. If you have a lot of brushes to this is the fast way.

Thanks Dennis. I had made the new folder but still cannot move the brushes into it. When I right click on the brush it only gives me the options of deleting or renaming. I don't know how to drag the brush from the brushes to the folder. Sorry. I just made a new brush of a signature with my Wacom pen and it saved in default brushes as I guess that is what I had open when I made the new brush. I am sure this is all very simple but some things just do not click with me.

And when I made my new folder and called it 'signatures' it does not come up under brushes in the editor.

Hi Shari ...
I did a tutorial quite a while back on saving brushes ... its on the forum.
Here is a link to it ... you will need to scroll down the thread to find it:
Using Preset Manager to save brushes ... (Message No 19) (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3077)
It should help you sort out how to the select individual brushes to save them .. :)
