Cloning Tool NOT working...

My cloning tool is not working lately. I'm trying to think if I'm doing something differently that would affect it. It won't work on any of the levels. I've tried using it before editing anything on the picture. It won't work..

It has had moments in the past where it's not worked. Now, I'm not sure what to think.

Hi ...

There can be quite a few reasons why it doesn't seem to work ... try these :)

Make sure that you haven't a selection active (Just do Select>Deselect to make sure)
Check that the blend mode of the clone tool is set to normal, 100% Opacity ... and Sample all layers (any of those will effect how the clone tool works) and that you have the option clone stamp tool selected not pattern stamp tool.
Make sure that the layer you are cloning to is at the top of the layers stack (or it could be hidden by other layers).

If none of those work then select the clone tool, look at the top right hand corner of the screen and you will see a small icon of the tool. Click on it and select the option "Reset Tool"

I'll keep my fingers crossed that one of those works :)
