I know I have seen vague references to this on other threads, so I am sorry if I am repeating. I cannot figure out how to save the .swf files that are included in the lessons. I like to keep these so I can go back & watch them when I get stuck or if I have forgotten how to do something. Can someone please give me explicit instructions on how to save them - I have tried a couple of freeware downloads, but I still cannot get the files to save.

The moderators put the kibosh on this sort of talk... see this message (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showpost.php?p=114458&postcount=54) from Matt K.

I was aware of the issue of not copying the streaming video so I have taken meticulous notes of the lessons. I find that the PDF is not enough instruction for me to refer back to but my notes are step by step so next time I review, I won't panic if I am past my 60 days. Also, it means I have to back up the video and watch it several times and that has also helped.

If the issue is around the investment of proprietary work why not give people to option of paying more to download the video? Personally I'd be prepared to pay extra money ($10-$20) to be able to keep the videos. The other option may be to offer the program as a complete DVD or CD. I would think that anyone who has paid the extra will not give them away. And beside, like it or not, there are ways to capture them so why not try and get something out of it?

Hi momsband
No probs... we were all whining about it when the changes happened. :D
I think Matts thread (I hope the link that Byron gave) pretty much explains the situation, so ..we move on.:)
