I've seen the Photoshop Magazine advertised, but I can seem to find the web page to subscribe to it. Point me in the right direction please. :)

So is the only way you can subscribe is to join NAPP?

Individual copies retail for $9.95 US, $16.95 Cdn, ?? international. 8 issues a years = roughly $80. NAPP members also get a bonus issue each time there's a new version of Photoshop.
A NAPP membership includes the magazine plus web site with hundreds of tutorials, free help desk, discounts and more.
$99 US, $129 Cdn, $179 int'l. (There's also education prices).
So, if you want Photoshop User magazine and a whole lot more, it's well worth joining NAPP (IMHO)

I'm new here - so please forgive my ignorance - but do we get a discount for being subscribed to Photoshop Elements Techniques??

I agree Dave, I was just offering the option for those who didn't see the NAPP value. I am a member at both places!

Now that you put it that way....;) I did not know the cost of the magazine but it appears it is the bulk of the subscription price for the site so that makes sense. Hmmm.... debating right now - sign up for NAPP or the CS2 Tour coming to St. Louis next month.

Nancy ....
Now that is a hard choice to make
When Scott Kelby brought the Down and Dirty Tour to the UK last year I went to that and it was just brilliant ... well worth going :). I learned so much and the great thing about it was that we received a workbook to go with it ... that saved taking all those notes :)
I had hoped that he was going to come to the UK again this year but it doesn't look like they are going to :(

Nancy, I recommend going AND joining. I joined at a CS2 Power Tour last spring that Dave taught. We also got a workbook.

Nancy;
I am a NAPP member and don't regret it a moment..
All of extras that come with membership plus the magazine make it a good
value..

Well I can't swing both right now so maybe I'll buy the magazine at Borders and go to the show. There is a workbook to accompany it and lots of other stuff so I think this is an opportunity I should not pass up right now. I can always ask for the subscription for Christmas.;)

I see that Dave, Matt and Scott are invoved with Photoshop Magazine as well as Photoshop Elements Techniques - can someone explain the difference? I don't have an issue joining both - just don't want to duplicate up on the tutorials, etc.
Appreciate it

If you join NAPP, then the seminar is $79 instead of $99 ;)

Hmmm... save the $9.95 for the magazine, join and save another $20 on the show. I'm $30 richer so it's like getting the membership for $69. How could I go wrong?:D

Hi: Is Photoshop magazine geared to PSE 3 or something more sophisticated? Jean

Hi Jean ...
Both the NAPP site and the magazine are for the full version of Photoshop so you won't find anything for Elements ... its the Photoshop version of this website :)

I admire his work to and have 2 of his books. He really makes it look easy and his tutorials are so easy to follow. Just goes to show you anything is possible......you just have to figure out how. :D
