Can't change photo date & time

It used to work just fine - now when I go to ADJUST DATE & TIME and make the adjustments it seems to accept the new data but nothing changes in the file properties under metadata. Does anyone else have this problem?

PSE3 and PSE4 work a bit differently - which one are you using (and when you say used to work was that with the same version?). PSE3 updates the file metadata, PSE4 just updates the catalog and doesn't update the original file metadata.

I'm using PSE4 and now I see that the browser will change the order of the photos based on the new time even though it doesn't change the metadata. I'll just have to be more careful with the CAMERA'S date & time!
