Poster's Note: While I've known about it for some time, and have had every intention to watch, this was the first episode of Photoshop TV I've seen. Shame on me...


Thought 1: I wish I knew someone who's named rhymed with "Rock the Houseki"...

Thought 2: That was hilarious. Anyone who's been caught by an uncontrollable attack of humor knows how they felt. Something happens, it snowballs, and then everything's funny.

Thought 3: Oh great. Now I have another weekly thing to watch. :)

Thought 4: Didn't I read something in Photoshop User Magazine about members being able to download past issues of PS TV? Hmm...thank goodness for high speed connections...:)

You know.... I looked over and over and I don't seem to have a cleavage blend mode. That must be one of the the things Photoshop has that we missed. No wonder it cost more. :eek: :D :eek:

Mike as far as the viewing the past eposiodes I think it's for NaPP members only. I could be wrong but that's the way I understand it.

No, it wasn't a prank. First off, everyone who watches the tutorial says that the steam (after the Wave filter) starts to look like a hand and you all know what it looks like that hand is doing. Funny thing is that I didn't notice it until I watched it later but Dave and Scott were already laughing at that. Then when I zoomed in, it went right to chest area and not where I intended. That just pushed us all over the top.

That was hillarious! I didn't notice the "Hand" shape until I just read it (I watched the video before reading the whole thread).

I agree with Pauline - maybe you guys should use pictures with cute males, so cleavage wouldn't be a problem.

By the way, it is great to now have faces to go with all these names! (I've never watched Photoshop TV before.)

I just checked out the latest installment of Photoshop TV and Matt's absence was glaringly apparent. I first thought he might have been too embarrassed to come back but I was relieved to learn from Scott and Dave that Matt was attending a conference to learn more about that magic "steam" effect! So, now that Matt will be steam-certified, the next show should be quite gripping! :p

I'm so glad this thread pointed me to that site. However, the Viewer Window is so small that I can barely recognize the image, the rest, like the palettes, is just a blur.

Mat K above says "when I zoomed in". I have tried everything to zoom or other wise enlarge, including F11 - no luck.

What am I missing? Please?

Ritage - Are you viewing the show in iTunes or through the links at the PhotoshopTV site. I use iTunes and double click on the small window in the lower left as the show starts to bring it up in its own larger window. I will say the resolution of the show is low and therefore the tutorials can be hard to follow. :cool:

I connect from the Photoshop Link. I suppose the "zooming in" quote referred to iTunes as well, which I don't have. At least that explains why I found nothing to zoom with.
