 I hope this is okay to ask here. I was wondering if anyone knew how Matt and Dave create their awesome Video Tips in the Subscriber area? Exactly what program are they using to capture their work in the PC and narration? The reason I ask is I'm heading up the use of a new SAP module where I work. I thought that instead of boring flat hard to follow procedures on how to use the system, I could create Video tutorials that a user could follow on their PC while SAP is minimized. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hi Roger,

I can't say what Dave and Matt are using but I've had good luck with Camtasia. I find it easy to operate and it produces similar results with lots of options for video formats, etc. You can download a trial version at http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp

If you are a windows user you can use Encoder, and it's free.

Thanks again everyone for the great replies and help. :)

baderms - Where can you get the free "Encoder" you mention?

As this is a work project, I think they'll buy whatever I recommend. I'm going to take a closer look at both Camtasia and Snagit. :D
