In the latest edition of Creating Keepsakes Magazine (September 2006 page 77) as a computer tip they showed how to do cicle text using Microsoft Word 2000 (or above). Create your text in WordArt - then click on WordArt Shape (I didn't even know that was there before) and choose circle. It will look pretty funny but pull on the sizing boxes to create a circle. Then I selected the whole thing, copied and went to PSE and chose File | New from clipboard and Voila!! I used Aramis text size 10 with four spaces between each phrase.

There are lots of neat things in addition to the circle that can be done in word art in microsoft word.

Where do I find the word art shape? Do you select the word art that you want and then type , so where is the shape? I have word 2003.

I found it, I just had to drag out the tool bar for Word art and it was there. Now this will give me something to play with. Thanks for pointing it out.

With all due respect, I don't know how good the quality of an import from WORD is when applied in a color managed program. There is no control of the resolution, sort of a clip art type of thing. I prefer to place text on a curve from within Elements when utilized in a picture file.
Here is one way of doing it:

1. Place text on 2 separate layers
2. Apply warped text tool, arc=100%. (Warped arc dialog can be accessed via options bar, or Layer>type>warp text)
3. Repeat for lower text layer
4. Use move tool to line them up

Great info, just in time for a project I'm doing. However I'm struggling to get the words on the bottom to read from left to right. In other words I'm not looking for a perfect circle of text, but 2 seperate statements. It just does not work using word art. Any suggestions?

Take a look at post #14 in this thread and download the zipped psd file. That will give you text in a circle running either way - and you can edit the font, text, resize it - just like a regular Elements text layer (which is what it is!)
