I can not burn my collection photos to a cd in the order that my collection is. It comes out of sequence and out of rotation when viewed by other programs. I have tried renameing the files and that only made the situation worse. Needless to say I can use your help here!

What programs are you using for viewing?
When you put the burned CD back into the Drive and look at the order, what is the order on the disc? As collections? Other?

Just some things to think about:
When I burn to CD my photos in Collection using the Sonic burn software, the order of the photos in playback will follow the order of numbers in the file name on the hard drive. That is even if I move the thumbnails around when viewing them in Collections in the Organizer, and the thumbnails have sequencial numbers on them like 1, 2, 3, etc.
In other words, say I move the thumbnail which represents scan0001.jpeg so that it has a number 3 on it in Collections ordering. That scan0001.jpeg will still be the first viewed when the burned CD is played back.
For best results I would suggest renumbering the original corresponding files on the hard drive, using a numbering system such as scan0001.jpeg, scan0002.jpeg, and so forth. That will work for photos under 1000.
Please let me know if you confirm my findings.

Some additional things for you to consider:
Contrast what photo viewing order you get on CD playback when
Have photos arranged as you prefer in Collections, then burn to CD with Sonic Software of Photoshop Elements
Versus
Have photos arranged as you prefer in Collections, then Create, Custom slideshow, Burn to VCD with Sonic Software of Photoshop Elements

I have found out that photoshop and windows view the file names in two different ways( thank you Wolf Camera). To over come this I had to Move my collection to a file in Explorer, reorganize the order and rotation then burn the CD from explorer. This allows the pictures to be seen in order and also on any cd player.
