Just happened to notice that Barbara Brundage's new Missing Manual is due out in September. Sounds intriguing :D . 5 guesses as to what X stands for :D

Check out the last paragraph - Curves, Burn Multi-session CD's and DVD's. Interesting taste of good things to come :)

Tony,
Strange, you mean the book comes out before the product.

Tony,

I saw that about two weeks ago. I'm assuming X stands for the next version. My guess is the release date of the book is incorrect. I haven't heard anything about a version V, have you?

I guess to get a jump in the game they have to get the book ready to be published in time for the release of the new product. I can't see Adobe putting V5 on the market this year though as they just updated to V4. But it can't be a typo and mean Sept. 07 or that's a really advance notice. Maybe they're hoping to get it on the market in time for Christmas?

I remember Amazon listing Photoshop Elements X last year....their date was off by about 4 months if I remember correctly (it was PE4).... stuff like this does get put on-line from time to time...either human error or worse....computer error  !!!

Well I'm thinking it would be nice to receive v5 as our Scrappy prize rather than v4 :D
