I have some photo cropping templates that I made for myself for use in PSE4, but I thought somebody else might find them useful. So I put them together in a free package of 5 templates plus a readme file. Here's what they do:

and here's examples of the cropped photos embellished a bit:

These were made in PSE4 using a 5 x 7, 300 ppi photo as a reference. So, if you have that particular size of picture, the templates are basically drag & drop. Other sizes may need a visit from the transform command. :) Also, they can be used on digipaper to make journaling boxes & mats.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post the direct link for downloading, so pm me if you want the link. I'm also working on collecting my paper cutting templates into a downloadable package, as well. :)

Those are cool - would they work with PSE3?

I believe so. They rely on the control + mouseclick-on the-thumbail tactic in order to create a selection based on the template. The template files are .psd so they should work.

I've got the free paper cutting templates available now, too. :) Here's the link to the contact sheet for those; there are 8 templates plus a "how-to" readme file. All templates are sized for 12 x 12, 300 ppi digipaper, but can be resized. PM me for the link if you'd like!
