It would be fantastic if the oranizer could import tracklogs from a GPS And then ascribe a geographic postion to each picture by corelating the picture times and GPS times for a location. Some iterpolation would be required. Also allow for correction of the time from the camera, since there may be a difference between camera times and true time.
If no GPS data is available, then showing a map and being able to locate the position on a map would be good.
The search function should then be enhanced to allow searching by geographic location perhaps radius from a specified postion, or within a rectangular boundary.
It may be slick to be able autotag an image based on proximity to a location. For example, anything within 5Kms of a location shall be tagged with the name of that location.
