I just installed PS Elementa4.0 on my E-Machine running WinXPHome.
The Organizer has a problem with the raw file thumbnails displaying.
If I move the "Thumbnail size slider" to display any less than (4)
thumbnails the Raw (.orf) which is Olympus raw files, turn solid black.
The .jpegs display without any problem. If I move the slider back to display
4 or more thumbnails then the colored raw images return.I can open raw files
in Edit with no problems and edit them. The E-Machine has 1gig mem and a laptop which does not have the problem has 512mb. I have tried reducing the WinXP display resolution, no fix. I looked in the Adobe Forum but have found nothing to address this problem,I also Emailed Adobe and they told me to go find a Forum. The E-Machine has an on motherboard video chip, not a slot card. But PS Elements works fine on my Toshiba laptop which also uses a on board video chip.Everything else works fine in the Organizer and Edit. Sincerely, Rich Wells.

I have encountered this problem with my Canon Raw files, too. On some of mine, after I use ACR on the file, the organizer will show a very bright, almost white pciture with no detail, even though opening it up shows everything is okay. I think it has to do with the size of the files. The only work around that I have come up with is to make a low resolution jpeg and stack it on top of the raw files. I didn't have this problem with PSE3, but only after I upgraded to PSE4
