I was trying to make my first 45 degree beveled frame & was nearly finished when suddenly I must have pressed a keystroke combination that duplicated my document. I have 2 identical projects in my photo bin.

Initially I thought that was cool b/c it was like saving a copy & having them up at the same time. However, when I apply a fill to one image, the image in Window #2 changes as well.

What have I done? How can I duplicate that duplicated project again? (HUH? what'd she say? she duplicated the duplicate of the duplicated image project??) :D

I'm not sure how you did this with a keystroke but I would guess you've created a new window for the image. Generally, you would use this feature to have one version zoomed and the other in full view. They are not copies.

To replicate this, go to the View menu. At the top it will say 'New Window for blahblah.jpg' or whatever your image is called.

Thanks David. Apparently I must have pressed Alt+V (I'm used to pressing ALT+F to apply last filter used).
