Elements Edit by default?

I've had Elements 2 and 4 on my PC for some time now and keep using Vers.2 because 4 is not intuitive when coming from 2.

For starters, having developed my own method for cataloging pictures over the years, I'll put the Catalog portion of the program on the back burner until I get a little time to figure it all out.
How then can I go straight into Elements 4 'Edit' without first opening Elements 'Organizer'?:o

Hi,
I have PSE3 but hopefully it is the same for 4.
When you get the wellcome screen check the bottom left corner.
You can set there how you want Elements to open. You just have to do it once - it'll remember how to open afterwards.

If you already have Elements open (PE3 here as well.. hopefully the same for 4) yu can go to Window>Welcome.. that will open the welcome screen and you can do as Marie suggested from there.
