I have no audio on the video clip. I went through the FAQ and downloaded everything, but I still don't have audio. Anyone else have this problem? (I have audio on the video clips in the free training area).

I hate to admit this but I have no idea what you mean. If you can be more specific, I will try to find out.
Thanks,
LeslieA

What Wendy means is which internet browser are you using?
Internet Explorer using Windows?
Safari using Mac?
Or something different.

I still have no audio. I have tried to download the Flash and it says it is successfully downloaded. If so, I can't find it on the computer anywhere. I went to the Flash site and went through all their FAQ and did all they recommended and I STILL HAVE NO AUDIO!!!!!!!!!

I am very frustrated and don't know what else to do. Grrrrr!

Just curious, are you running on a Mac or Pc, I know some Macs have internet explorer also and have you recently installed an update from iTunes?

PC and I can't say about the itunes. I don't think so but I have teenagers. My husband worked on the computer last night for hours and apparently the problem is our computer. Although I can play the free weekly videos fine, the layers course has no volume for me. If I go in through his name (ours is set with each person having their own preferences) it works fine. I think the computer is on crack.

This is an old thread but it has alot of things people tired...

-- What they tried --

1.Get K-Lite Codec Pack 2.69 Standard
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm

Install Package and then go to

**/K-Lite Codec Pack/Configuration/ and Run "Codec Tweak Tool"
tick "Fixes / [ Registry ] Fix Non-working system sound "
Run tool...

2. Sound manager - make sure nothing is mute and midi is enabled.
3. Uninstalled recent audio programs like winamp, itunes, or updates for media player.
4. If that doesn't work, uninstall any recent programs installed.
5. ....Uninstall any virus protection to see if the program is conflicting with the computer. (scan computer before uninstalling)
6. If you don't have spyware tools download these here, they are very good (make sure to get updates before scanning)

http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10401314.html?tag=lst-0-2

7. If your computer has a sound card make sure all the plugs are in place and correct.

Looks like step number 1 works after reading this whole thread. I hope it work for you.

Thanks! I really appreciate the effort in trying to help me. I will refer this to my husband because I think it is over my head. The situation really is weird. I have been able to access the videos on his laptop but he is leaving town next week so I will be out of luck if this info you have sent me doesn't work. Again, thanks and I will let you know if it works out.
