Hello everyone. I am new to the forums and look forward to learning as much as I can and getting to know everone. I just picked up PSE4 last week and already made a slideshow for my wifes birthday. I really want to learn about layers and filters so I can create some coll stuff. No questions for now, just wanted to say hi to everyone here. PS, these forums are awesome, and everyone seems very nice. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. If you want to learn about layers, the best thing to do is sign up for the on-line layers course. It is a 21 day course but you have access to it for 60 days and is well worth the money (even when I convert it to Ozzie dollars).

I'm also new here and love this forum. I agree with Mark, I tend to learn so much more here, the books are collecting dust (and you can't chat to them!).

Highly recommend the 21 day layers course.

Thanks everyone. This is why I joined the forums, everyone seems very nice and polite. I look forward to learning alot form all of you. I just got back in form taking some pictures of some flowers and stuff around the house. Now I need to try and do some cool stuff with them.
