I'm so glad this section is here. I hope that someday Premiere can have it's own little section!
I'm creating a slideshow for my son's 1st birthday and I want it to have video clips as well as still photos. Can I put the videos in and reorder everything like what was taught as the 1st tutorial?

Hi AmbertLV
If you are going to create slideshow and do the authoring all in Premiere Elements 2.0, I do not see any problem. Maybe, take a look at how to video in this web site (Premiere Elements Learning Center), online, in the program's help section.
Since you said that you wanted to include slides and video in your slideshow, creating the slideshow in Photoshop Elements creates a problem. The Custom Slideshow there only supports photos, not videos. At least that is the way it is in my Photoshop Elements 3.0. You could create the slideshow with just the photos in Elements, export it to Premiere Elements, and add the video once in Premiere Elements. But, you need to be careful. Premiere Elements will accept what you have done in Photoshop Elements, but you cannot change it once in Premiere Elements. You can add, but not subtract. It might be easier to do it all in Premiere Elements 2.0.
This is a very special occasion for you, and I wish you good luck. If you have Photoshop Elements 4.0, check out to see if Adobe made changes in the 4.0 version to include photos plus video. At this moment I do not have the answer to that point.

Thanks! I have 4 months until his birthday so I should have plenty of time to figure it out. :D

Question ATR.....
Does Photoshop Elements 4.0 offer the ability to "pan and zoom" slideshows? I believe that Adobe refers to this as "motion". I only ask because this effect adds drama and offers a nice Wow factor to slideshows.
While I haven't tried this in Premiere Elements, it is my understanding that it is possible. I thought that AmberLV may have the time to learn this effect and might find it worthwhile.

Good Morning GEM,
I have Photoshop 3.0 which does not have the pan & zoom feature, but Photoshop 4.0 does have it. The enhanced slideshow including pan & zoom in 4.0 was one of the major marketing features in the upgrade from 3.0 to 4.0.
I also have Premiere Elements 2.0 but have not gotten around to trying out a pan & zoom effect there. Thanks for bringing that up. I will look into that.
