Unistall Trial Version PS4

I downloaded the try and buy version of PS4. I then bought the real version not through the Try and buy. Now i can't enter the real version serial number on the try and buy version and I can't uninstall the try and buy version to enter the new version. How do I get out of this Kafka-esqe dilemma. I went through the registry and deleted everything that said photoshp elements. deleted ps4 folders. help!

Have you tried installing the version you boaught over the trial?

yes. it tells me to unistall the prior version. when i try to unistall the prior version it tells me that msie file is missing. tech support said delete from the registry but said that there are certain hidden files that you need to delete but they would only tell me when in front of the computer. go figure. i have time conflicts in being at the computer when tech support is open.

perhaps try installing the trial version again, then do an uninstall through add and remove programs then try again. I feel your pain!

If you were on a mac, you could just drag it to the trash and be done with it. ;)
