I just bought a new computer and started capturing DV tapes to DVD. Every time I try to burn my files to DVD the computer shuts down and will not restart unless it unplug the power for about 10 seconds. I meet minimum system requirements, and then some.
Sounds like a hardware issue, but computer manufacturer thinks this is "evironmental". I have adjusted my Power Setting (no hibernate, no screensaver, etc.), Display Setting (lower res.), disabled Autoplay, etc.
I also tried burning to a file. This worked until I tried to burn the project using Nero...computer shut down again.
Any suggestions before I take this computer back? Thanks!
