video training

Hi,
I'm new here. I just started online training and I can't watch online video lessons. It starts to play but stops after about 6 sec.
I'm using Mac with Quicktime player 7.
Any Ideas??

... and welcome to the forum :)

Is this the online classes??? then the first thing is are you using broadband ... not dial up ? Its just that online classes use flash format and they do need a faster connection.

Usually trying them again an hour or so later works as occasionally they do go slow if a lot of people are viewing them.

If its the Video tutorials in the subscriber area then there are some trouble shooting tips at the top of the section ... and for some people re-installed Quicktime as sorted things out ...

Yes, it's online class. I'm using broadband internet conection. I'm on day 3 of Digital Workflow class. I can download picture and PDF file and can learn by reading PDF but would like to view all the videos as well.

I just tried the workflow online class and it seems to be working OK at the moment ... what is happening when you try it ?? Is it still stopping after 6 seconds ??

Oh I am so pleased that it is working OK now ... it could just have been a hiccup :)

Do hope that you are enjoying the course ... that was the first one I did and I really enjoyed it.
