I just returned from a week in Michigan, mostly spent in northern Michigan. There were so many beautiful sites... I grew up in Michigan but didn't take a lot of pictures then, so it was great to revisit places with a camera and take pictures of family. I've added just a few pictures and creations from our trip to my gallery (still sorting through everything!)

Thanks for looking.

Kay,

Lovely additions to your gallery. Love the b&w one with the dash of colour, very effective.

Kay, nice work with your new Canon! :) I especially like the "First Sail" collage. What cute expressions you caught. And your pictures are so clear and sharp. I also like the one with the bridge. I like how the bridge, as background, ties the other pix together.

I love the lighthouse with the selective color and especially the "First Sail". Looks like your wore her out! Wow what a summer she has had between Disney and Michigan. Great shots!

Beautiful photos from Michigan, Kay. Makes me want to go north again soon. Did you get to Sleeping Bear Dunes?

Kay,
Beautiful photos from Michigan, I love the lighthouse too. We will be spending 2 weeks in the western part of the upper peninnsula (called Yooperland around here) soon. :D

Thanks, everyone! No, Diana, we were on the eastern (Lake Huron) side, so we didn't go there. I last visited the Dunes while in college. This trip definitely made me want to go back to various places- Traverse City, Higgins Lake...

Eva- what a great trip you'll have. When my daughter is older, we'll definitely be doing the UP tour.

Kay,

Loved all your recent holiday photos, but my favourite was the one with various views of the sunrise. Gorgeous!

Cheers,
