What an excellent job of a displacement map you did! I actually thought it was painted on the stones until I read your caption! Wow  That's cool.

Kimi,
Well... it appears that you've mastered this technique in one pass ...what's next?
Very nicely done!!

OK, I need to be honest. It was part of my homework for the class some of us are taking online. The teacher provided both images, all I did was follow the directions. And had a few glitches with that. I will say.. once you know what you are doing it is very easy. Thanks everyone!!
Well, maybe that means I will get a good grade on my homework. :)

Kimi
I think you did an awesome job! It sent me wondering where I could find directions to do one myself. I have a few pictures that would look great in place of the flag.

Nancy, here is the link to the one Alice posted before. She took this class before me. Let us see when you are done. :)

Kimi,
Great displacement mat. Which online class are you taking?

Bayla, I am taking Photoshop Pizzazz, which is mostly about filters and More Pizzazz which takes you to the next step. She has directions for Elements. The classes are great but, I would be completely lost if I had not taken the Layer course here.

Kimi--awesome is surely the word for your flag wall! And thank you for the link to Alice's directions for trying this.
I was also admiring the one next to it (Sophia). Love how you've use the torn effect and the stitching!
