This is my first try at a Raised Image. The picture is of a local store. I have admired this setting since I moved here 11 years ago and I finally took the picture last weekend. I have also included the original in my gallery.

Wow, Ducky, I really like that. How did you do it, especially how did you get the shadow all around the raised portion? Whenever I use the shadows they are only on one side or the other.

I went to the tutorials in the subscriber area and followed the one that says "Raising An Image From The Background". It worked pretty good.

That is beautiful. The original shot was great but the "raising" has turned into a terrific image - well done.

This is an effect that I really like and I have to admit that I use it such a lot ...

I use the effect a lot and did the tutorial because so many people asked how to do it :)
