Dave,
Just watched the latest video tutorial in the subscriber zone on brushes.
Creating a brush from part of the image is a cool yet quick technique...
Thanks :)

Thanks!
I have all kinds of brushes from photos of old manuscripts, music, photos of road signs....

I too just got thru watching this video and yes it is a great tip.
One question however. After deleting brushes how do I remove the name of the brushes from the fly away menu?
It seems if I don't delete it they return. (the reason I want to delte some is because it appears that I have some duplicates - don't know why but I do)

Anna,
You can delete brushes in the Preset Manager...
Bring up the Brush Tool Picker and click the small right arrow that appears on the right habd side of the window. From the menu choose Preset Manager.
Scroll down to the brush(es) you want to remove and click the delete button.

Anna,
I have just had a thought ... when you have deleted a brush (via the preset manager) it will still appear in the fly away menu until you change your brush set. I wonder if that is what is happening.
