Hi;
First let me say hello. I'm a new user of Adobe products, I just got the PSE4 and PE 2 a couple of days ago. I use other product before and I'm glad that I decide to make the change.
I was playing around with the PE and create a few projects just to see how the product works and when I decide that I want to delete them I could not found any key or popup menu option to delete projects, so the question is;
How do you delete your projects on PE.

One Approach
When you open Premiere Elements 2.0 and select "New Project", the New Project dialog opens: for "Name of Project" and "Save In:". Whatever you have in those two places will determine where your saved files are.
In my case, Documents/Adobe/Premiere Elements/2.0/
You are after the contents of the 4 folders here if you want to delete unwanted files:
Adobe Premiere Elements AutoSave
Adobe Premiere Elements Preview Files
Encoded Files
Media Cache Files
DO NOT TOUCH the Styles Folder that will be in this area.
If you do not have a clue as to where the saved files are, try this. Open the program and check on what it says in the Save In spot. That probably has what was there last time you created a project, and your saved files will probably be in the location shown.
Remember always to look for the name as well as the location so as not to delete the wrong files.
Please let me know how this works out.

Just 2 quick add ons....
Consider exploring two routes:
On the Open Screen...Open Project
and
Once opened, File Menu/Open

Hi,
Thanks for your response, that exactly what I did and you just confirm it, so the answer here is that there is not and "Option" to do the delete of a project for you? If you want to delete a project you must get into those 4 folders and delete them your self?

There may be another way, but I have not found it for Premiere Elements 2.0.
So, until proven otherwise, this is THE way that I use to remove all traces of a project. However, if your intent is not to remove all traces, then I would check out HELP for other deleting details, such as deleting preview files, deleting media, etc.
To recap:
In the Opening Screen: Open Project or Once opened: File/Open
or
If Premiere Elements is not open, go directly to place saved, in my case, Documents/Adobe/Premiere Elements/2.0
Delete the PROJ icon as well as any folders related to that project that may be in the 4 folders mentioned in the earlier post:
Adobe Premiere Elements Auto Save
Adobe Premiere Elements Preview Files
Encoded Files
Media Cache Files
If I ever do find an alternative, I will be sure to post it.

Many thanks for that info ATR. I feel that is a deficiency in the instruction book not listing how to delete finished projects fully. With your help I have now been able to free up a lot of disk space.

Thanks for the feedback. That information ranks top on list of "discoveries". First place will always be figuring out how to save Titles in Premiere Elements 2.0.
Your post got me thinking about deleting projects. So here goes an add on that you may have already discovered. It deals with projects that you want to delete that you may have overlooked.
Open Project in the Splash Screen and checking out the 4 folders mentioned earlier does a good job. But, I double check two other places, Just in case...
in Documents
Document\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements\2.0\
(those 4 folder mentioned earlier)
and
in Program Files
Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0\Tutorial\
(Here just do not delete the Tutorial Start and Tutorial End ones by mistake. You want them to use for training.)
