Ok on one or more of my excursions some have been in my home state of Florida... This one is in Anna Maria Island! I love the sunset there! Buttttt in recent times there a barge that SITS RIGHT INFRONT OF THE SUNSET! I mean like BLOCKING IT going down! I was soooo angry! But on the last day to my suprise I went out and WHOOOHOOOO noooo barge! It was the best sunset I have taken soo far and I think my total pictures of that one sunset had to be over 100 pictures! So sorting threw all of them I found these 5 that I loved! take a look!

Beautiful shots! They were worth waiting for. When I was in Tampa last November I didn't get to do any sunsets because a little storm named Wilma was visting your state down south but left nothing but clouds in the Tampa area the 3 days I was there. One of the many reasons I went was to be able to take some beautiful sunsets so that was a little disappointing.

Those are great shots. I could hardly believe the amount of birds in the sky. Were they seagulls or some other kind of bird. I like the last pic the best, it's such a beautiful sunset.

Thanks all, Dorrie Those were Seagulls in the sky, and yess out of all of them that one has made my background image! Marti... I am sorry to hear wilma took all of it away I think I have some wilma shots someeeewhere but they are all cloud shots after the sunset... I know they have got to be some where *searchs threw 3000 different folders*.... Ahh I can't find them well I will see if I can get the too you later!

I enjoyed the shot of the pelican - can't tell for sure, but looks like he's coming in for a landing.
