I like it! - kinda like looking through a frosted glass window. It's creative, and sometimes it's these pieces that take you to another idea!!

Kev, I do like it. As Betsy says, it is like looking through frost glass and it also reminded me of the "rounded" windows that I remember in some trains.

Interesting touch; looks like you used the glass touch on the top layer. I like it, and may use the technique on a wedding arrangement. Thanks for sharing Kev!

The trick is to always leave enough in the pot so you can photograph them when the bloom. If this doesn't happen it means you need a bigger pot.

Roadrunner,
pleased you like it but there was no glass filter or any other filter used.
It was done by making a template of the frames on a transparent background. Each frame on its own layer. then I opened a photo and made it the background. Next I dragged the frames onto the background and using control click on each layer of the frames, selected them. Turned the eyeball off on the frames, did a copy of the background turned the frames back on, made sure they were still selected and did a Paste into selection. Finally I selected the bground layer and reduced the opacity.
That's it no filters just a lot of luck.
Hope when you try it you find it easy.
Kev:)

It's a pleasure to be able to show other members how I did something. It's done in return for the help I've received in the past and hopefully, in the future. Sharing is what makes this the best forum anywhere.

Kev,

I couldn't agree more. I'm sure if everyone had this attitude in every walk of life instead of zealously & jealously withholding information that comes their way, the world would be a better place. IMHO giving & sharing is the key to happiness.

I must confess I was being a brat. i knew they were chives and I suspected there would be those that didn't and i just wanted to see if anyone would ask what they were. The truth is if you haven't grown them you would never know what they are but the flower head is very distinct for those that grow herbs.

Now one always wonders when they eat chives will she kiss me or shun me. In your case I suspect you would conk me over the head with a frying pan ;)
