Now and again I like to post also on the Adobe User to User Forums for Premiere Elements and used to be able to do so quite easily. Now, however, no matter what I do I cannot see the option to start a new thread ('Add Topic'). I see the usual message which reads:

To start a NEW discussion click on the Back to Topic List link and select Add Topic.
If you are in an archive forum please go up to the main topic list (archives are read only).

I do all that but nothing helps. What am I doing wrong?

I use a news reader and I am having no problem accessing, posting or starting a new thread, therefore I suspect the forum is not misbehaving.

It looks like you should be posting here: http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.3bb574e6/ (note the caption), most of the other links go to archives, where you can not post.

Gazmum,

I was just over there, and everything is in order in the Premiere Elements User to User Forum for adding a Topic.

First, is your registration in order? Can you sign in?

Just for comparison purposes, this is the route that I just followed to be able to Add Topic in that forum:

http://www.adobe.com
Bottom left of page that opens, Click on Forums
Next page, Product forums, Premiere
Next page, sign in
Next page, user to user Forums, selected Premiere Elements
Next page, user to user Forums, Premiere Elements...at start of all the Topics, the line reads Bookmark/Add Topic/Subscribe

When you select Add Topic, the space opens for the Topic that you are adding.

Is that the route that you have been following?

Followed all your steps but didn't get what I needed. So I reregistered under another name. All okay now.
