I haven't figured out how I'm going to print out the pieces yet. I don't have a 12 x 12 printer so I do my scrapping the old fashioned way. I wanted to print out the components and lay them out something like this. I wish Elements had a 45 degree and 60 degree diamond cookie cutter. It would make my life so much easier in trying some of the layouts based on quilt patterns that I'd like to try. Anyway here is the link to my first attempt at cubes/blocks. Great job on that cube. That's one I have yet to try. I really like the bold color selection to make it "pop" out. Such a cute subject too!

Lynn,
Those are so good. What a nice concept.

By the way I sent you a PM regarding your crafts. Did you get it.

Thanks. My little cuttie is the same girl in my Posiden challenge. She's grown up a lot since these were taken (6 month photos). I'm a little behind on my scrap books  The page next to this has an 8x10 with black and red borders and a ladybug paper as the background. I thought about putting a lady bug on the third block. Originally, I was going to do a stack of 3 blocks but thought this looked better.

I didn't see the PM but I'll go look, now that I know it is there.

Lynn,

I love the different interpretation that you've put on your cube creation......and such great colours too. As Nancy has said......it really pops!

The mix of flat and cubed photos really works well! And you have an adorable subject.
