I can create slideshows but when I click on Burn, I get error code: c06d007e and Elements shuts down.
I have PS Elements 4.0 and run MS XP SP2 on a Dell Inspiron 8600 with a CD/DVD burner.
I have searched Adobe and there is no return for that error code. Googling shows others are having the same problem but no one has found a solution.
Any help would be appreciated.

Questions, no answers yet.
Are you trying to burn to DVD from Elements 4.0 without Premiere Elements 2.0 also installed on your computer?
After you create your slideshow as Creation, Output to wmv, can you burn the slideshow as this wmv to a CD or DVD with the software that came with your DVD/CD writer?
I will see if I can find those other reports that you cited to see what they looked like.

Just some quick follow up:
I went searching over at http://www.adobe.com and found the following (not sure if it will help):
http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/331968.html
I have not had time today to explore also their User to User Forum there. You may want to check that out.

Just some more reading material. It looks like someone found one answer that worked for them.

Sorry, the link in that last post did not work, so I am going to try copy/paste again.
