Well I am so pleased to say that I now have a new tutorial uploaded ... its a scrapbooking one and its just a small tutorial showing how to make a card to go into the envelope that some of you made quite a while ago ago. :)

I know that there has been a long delay but there have been a few problems ... hopefully they are now sorted out and the other new ones will appear pretty soon.

At the moment it is in the ordinary tutorial section not the scrapbooking one ... :o but fingers crossed it will be transferred over later.

Actually this one has appeared at a pretty good time as I have an announcement to make .... drum roll !!!!!

Oh its no good I'm better at pictures than words and it seems very appropriate to use the card and envelope for this one :)

Kay ...

I just got the picture half an hour ago ... so its the first time we have seen her. :) I don't do scrapbook pages but I just couldn't resist using the card and envelope to show our first photo.

Ruby is 7lb 7oz and both Mum and baby are doing fine ... we are going to visit them on 17th/18th/19th of this month and I can't wait :)

Her mom is going to love what you've created. Now you have a whole 'nother subject to use PSE with... I bet you can't wait to hold her. Give her a kiss for us.

Hi Wendy,

Just a note for you to check out.

It looks like they put your card tutorial in the regular Subscriber Tutorial Section and not in with the Scrapbook Tutorials.

From the other posts, it looks like congratulations are in order on the arrival of a new member to your family. Best Wishes.

Hi again Wendy,

Ignore note to check out location of your new tutorial. Please just accept the congratulations part.

When I was about to sign off, I saw the part in your post where you mentioned the business about the tutorial location.

Congratulations!!!! I have a while to wait for my first one but she looks like a beauty! Ruby is also my aunt's name (my dad's only sister) and she is a beautiful, strong, fabulous person. I suspect with a name like Ruby your granddaughter will be too! It is a blessed name!

Hey Wendy! I'm soooo excited for you! You know I had this same wonderful blessing come my way, about 7 months ago :D And I have to tell you . . . things are going to change! Maybe you DIDN'T do scrapbook pages, but you WILL! I never did them, either, until Clara came along. And now I can't stop :o

Hi everyone ...

So pleased that you like the scrapbooking page and our first photo of Ruby .... who knows maybe I will turn into a scrapbooker after all :)

I had finished the scrapbooking tutorials set ... two more are written and should be posted sometime in the future. (Making the blocks and Making a dummy) ... but if there is anything else that you would like me to do then just let me know. Not being a scrapbooker I ran out of ideas for new scrapbooking tutuorials but I'm open to suggestions ... :)

In fact I would welcome suggestions as I now have Ruby to make pages for ....

Thank you for your good wishes ... and I will keep you up to date (bore you to death) about Ruby's progress :D :D

Oh, Wendy, I was away yesterday and just now saw this thread...I too wish you all the Happiness being a Grandma....it's so wonderful.....Ruby is gorgeous.:)

I have six and the youngest is 8, and I still enjoy each one of them...Now I'm looking for a Great-Grand-baby. Hopefully sometime in the not too distant future...Got to get those boys married first.

And thank you for the scrapbooking tutorial. Yes, now you will have to do more scrapbooking of Ruby, 'cause she's so precious.

Wendy-I just saw your new creation in your gallery-

http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=9788

It's terrific! Is that her christening dress?

I know we've all been having a hard time with "scrapbooking" but this kind of creation captures memories and brings out emotions, so whatever we call it, it's just the thing!
