The JERK "Adobe QA engineer"

We have a very good group here and every once in a while a JERK show up. JERK D'JOUR happens to be The Adobe QA engineer. What he thinks is humour is childish and that would be the end of that if it weren't for the possible back lash. While it shows a need for security it would be a shame if security was made so tight as not to allow new people free access of this otherwise great site.

Adobe QA engineer may you roast in spam hell.

Right on Grant - I quickly found the Ignore List feature but my PM box is filling up fast. I just hope a moderator is out there to clean up the mess.

Here is how to deal with "Adobe QA engineer" go to User CP then go to buddy/ ignore list and past his name in ignore and click up date. His name will still appear but his messages will not.

This guy's a JERK all right! This is a clear-cut abuse of freedom of expression. I hope that the webmaster can do something about this without ruining the forum.

Chas - Go into the User CP, put a check mark off to the right of message(s), and in the box under that you will find a selection to delete (scroll through the list). Also, putting the person on your ignore list as Grant suggested makes it so you never see the post again, just the name.

I have been saying the JERK a is a guy but in fact it is probably just a spam-bot. Now if it is a person it most likely is a guy in fact a 16 year old with acne an a terrible social life. May I suggest that his mother cut the bottoms out of his pockets so he can have something to amuse himself with that would keep him off the web.

The scary thing is that at the rate he is posting he would bypass Wendy's effort before the end of the day. :twisted:

Ever though I haven't read his post, I've seen guys like that ruin several sites that I used to belong to. I think they do it trying to see how much controversy they can stir up - Russ

He posted at least 30 times and sent out a bizzilian IM and they are all of the same images and it was pink and wrinkly so I had everyone apply a healthy Gaussian blur to it ... setting was a bout 150+

?How is that for keeping it on topic? :)
