Have you made any changes to the way you recorded (or software used for) the latest video tutorials?

Mike,
I seem to remember Jan saying something when we last had problems with a video... but I can't remember what it was. I'll try to find it.

Wendy,
There was a broken link with the "More Powerful Than You Thought". In that case nobody could load the video. I'm trying to work out why (on another post) two people get sound but no picture on some videos but others are ok...

Hi Mike and others, I still cannot get the "video" on some ("one click wonders", "brushes part 1",etc.) but I can get the video on others ("2 views", "layer tips", "tattoo arm", etc.). I have checked everything and I do have the latest version of QuickTime. Any other ideas? It seems as though a number of people have similar problems. Thanks to Wendy, Mike and others who have offered help. Tyler

When I try to send you a private email, I get the message "that my email client is not properly installed" and I am unable to send the email to you. I will try to figure out what is wrong. I am getting frustrated. Thanks again for all of your help. Tyler

Tyler,
OK... send me a private message then - or do you have MSN Messenger?

No changes on my end as well. The "I can hear sound, but no video" problem has been (99.9%) of the time a quicktime version problem. If you're experiencing this problem its usually because you're not using the most up-to-date version of Quicktime. Just click on Help and choose Update existing Software.
I'll have a FAQ out next week to help smooth out some of these issues. Hope this helps.

Matt,
Thanks for replying...
That was my first thought, but in the replies at :
http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2558
the latest version of Quicktime appears to be installed. I wondered whether the Browser Plugin is corrupt and needs to be reinstalled...
But you're right - it's a Quick Time issue rather than something on the site.
