Everybody is asleep at my house and I had to tell someone and since you are the ones who made it happen..here goes:
I sent 2 pictures to the online printing center at Walgreens. I had not done this before; just wanted to see how it would look. Well! guess what, I called to see if it was ready and they said "We can't print them because they are copyrighted. I said "it can't be because we took them with our own camera"..the young man said "you will have to talk to our supervisor"...she asked "Isn't the picture that looks like a painting and the other one with the oval mat and shadow by a professional photographer" ..by now I am :D from ear to ear and pretty darn excited. I told them I used a software program on my computer to do it but I had to sign a release to get my pictures.

Yaaaayyyy Vesta. Good for you! I haven't sent anything in because I print most of my own but that's got to be a great feeling having someone validate your work without even knowing that they are doing so.

Thanks, I am definately not in the pros category but's that's what makes this so sweet. I am still slowly crawling around in PSE4 but I sure am enjoying the trip.

My computer picked up a bug right after I installed Elements, so I've been going nuts not being able to work with it. Seeing your pics inspires me all over again!

Vesta it's kind of a double edged sword isn't it! A great compliment that they think your work is professional, but a real pain in the butt that they don't want to print it. Luckily they were content with the waiver. Some places still don't seem to want to do that.
