Sorting for Slide Shows

I have been trying to create a slideshow (in Elements 3) from various pics in my catalogue but whenever I try to save it the order reverts to the original date on which it was entered into the program. Is there a way to maintain the order I desire?

Put them into a collection and you can rearrange them in the order you want. The best way to start doing a slide show is to select the images you want to use, put them into a collection, rearrange them and then create the slide show.

Thanks Tony - now for the next question - What are the steps to save on a CD to show via TV/DVD player as a slide show? I have tried various things but no luck. (As you can see I am a real beginner at this!)

Hi Tony,

I'm fairly new to elements 4.0 - I have been doing fine with organizing, tags etc. however, I'm having a problem adding media to my slide show. I am trying to use Itunes for my music selection...I get as far as selecting the song but it won't open. On the bottom of the pull down screan where it says "File name" I get the wrong file name. Does this make sense to you????

I hope so...Sorry, if this is not the place to post. This is my first time responding and right now I'm pulling my hair out and don't know what to do.
