View Full Version : Layers Training Missing Font

When I attempt to load the dsf files into Photoshop Elements, I get a message "Some text layers contain fonts that are missing. Changes to missing fonts will result in font substitution. Use the Layer>Tyoe?Replace Missing Fonts menu to select a suitable replacement."
Also would like to compliment Matt on the great job with the training, being new to Elements it's nice to have someone move through step-by-step.

I thought Matt actually covered that in the session, what to do when that happens?

I agree with Kay ... I'm sure that Matt covers this in the Video ...

Perhaps Matt did cover it somewhere, but after listening three times to Lesson 1 I haven't heard it. So ... how does one fix the missing fonts issue? Also, how do you get the files into the editor to use in the first place. Any help would be most appreciated. If I missed Matt's explanation somewhere in those 3 times I listened to the lesson then please tell me exactly where to find the solution .... not just "Matt covered it somewhere." Thanks!

Matt does cover the missing font issue but I don't think it is in lesson 1. If you get the message just click OK. It only means you don't have that font. Your computer will substitue a different one. It is really no big deal.
Hope this helps. If you have anothe issue just ask.
