I have created 3 back up disc's in the last few months but when I insert them in my drive, nothing happens? How do I find the photos installed in the dvd? Seems easy enough but I'm stumped? Tried many ways but can't find the photos (or file) that the PS software used to created a back up dics and also varified it?

LaRue,

I also made back up discs and popped one of them into my compter to get a particular photo and I got nothing. I finally tried putting the disc in the other drive slot and it worked. If you have two CD drive slots, try each one.

La Rue,
had a similar problem when I used the organiser. My solution I don't use organiser and I bought an external drive. Now no problems.

Here's the way I do it: Click on my computer - click on the drive your CD is in. At this point, it should open - Russ

Thanks for the replies, I printed out a help page and it says something about using the restore icon in file ( to restore a catalog to a previous version). I will try your tips and see if any work. Thanks again.

Solved my back up disc proplem. I used a CD-R and made a new back up and it works fine. My old discs were DVD-R . Don't know why the DVD's didn't work?

Glad you were able to get it to work. Sounds like you may have a CD burner, not a DVD burner. Do you know model of your burner?

I have both a DVD & CD Burner in my HP Media center PC. I do not know what brand is inside the pc?
